Overview
The Sales Applications Specialist will act as a trusted guide to our client’s customers in the Semiconductor market, providing scientific expertise, support, and training.
Location: Field-based, USA
Duties Include:
- Partner with sales and field application support leaders to create a cross-functional team to exceed our customers’ requirements and drive revenue
- Troubleshoot issues related to workflow, assay, software, and/or instrumentation
- Interpret customer needs and identify resolution pathways that may include technical support, sales, service, R&D, etc.
- Develop collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders – across all use cases – to create demand for company solutions
- Give technical seminars and presentations to assist the regional sales team in promoting company products
- Attend industry conferences and travel to visit customer sites to present company product lines and capabilities
- Work with operations team members to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and that systems are built according to specifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering discipline
- Experience working in technical, engineering, and/or lab industries preferred
- Sales or sales support experience preferred
- Excellent people skills
- Able to travel as needed
