Overview
This position will be the company’s ambassador to the environmental, food, forensics, defense, and consumer products industries for sales of analytical instruments across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast US.
Location: Southeast US
Duties Include:
- Develop new potential clients and nurture existing ones to build a strong pipeline for the company’s line of analytical instruments
- Support of OEM and other sales channels in the region
- Coordinate and support field marketing activities
- Be the face of this product line, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Review of customer orders to ensure technical compatibility, bridge the knowledge gap between customers working in various disciplines
- Preparation and proactive follow-up of quotations for instruments, consumables, and services
Requirements:
- BA/BS or higher in Chemistry/related physical science discipline, or successful track record selling to the scientific community
- Experience running and maintaining GC/GC-MS or related instruments. Sales experience with this a plus.
- Time and territory management experience
- Able to travel regionally
